As most of you know by now - Noah's Jr Pee Wee team finished 11-0. Noah was a huge part of a stifling defense that had 7 shutouts. Some other fun facts about the defense:
The first 2 weeks of practice are already behind us and we are getting ready for the 2nd full contact practice. Noah is doing well, and learning a new position (outside linebacker). We (the coaches, yea...I'm helping coach) may work him in on offense, but for sure he will be on defense during the first half.
Noah got a TON out of the Jason Carter Speed, Agility and Conditioning Camp. Another great value as far as camps go! No awards at this one, but still was a great experience. You check out all of the pictures from the camp in the links below:
This year the Lake Norman Giants are kicking off the year with a big celebration.
Noah participated in the very first Lake Norman Youth Football Combine last year, and since most of his Pop-Warner coaches volunteer at the Combine, we signed him up again this year. The "camp" is two hours a day for 4 days. Typically the first hour revolves around improving "combine" skills (40 yard dash, vertical leap, shuttle run, and this year push-ups in a minute, and standing long jump), the second hour is divided into offense and defense position skill improvements.
